Wool Rug, handwoven using a traditional hand-foot loom. The sheep's wool is carefully selected and then naturally dyed using pigments obtained from plants.
Give to your place the unique cosy touch of natural colours.
Dyes used:
Yellows: Zacatlaxcalli plant (Cuscuta tinctoria)
Browns from Zapote Tree (Pouteria sapota)
Purples: Red Cochineal
Blues: True indigo (Indigofera tinctoria)
Size: 150cm x 70cm (approximately)
Origin: Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca, Mexico.
