Why choose our Mrirt rugs?
Our Mrirt rugs are carefully selected through our different artisans in Morocco. They're all handmade with an excellent natural sheep wool quality in the region of Khenifra, Morocco.
Each Mrirt rug is a unique piece, selected for their exceptional quality, super soft finishing and their original designs.
Even though they're all washed first in Morocco before being shipped to my showroom in Belgium, my team and I take care of the final cleaning ourselves before shipping the rugs to you.
What are Mrirt rugs?
Mrirt rugs are the most luxury Berber rugs handwoven in Morocco with natural wool. They're originally from Khenifra, Morocco. , They differentiate themselves from the Beni Ourarain rugs for their weaving technique. They're very tightly woven, with double knots on each weaving line so they require more work to be made than other kind of rugs. The texture is also different: the Mrirt rugs are finished with fire, which gives them a super soft and fur like texture.
